Terms of Service

Last updated: [effective date]

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the DRMS voice AI answering service and client portal (the “Service”) provided by [DRMS legal entity] (“DRMS”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

DRMS provides a voice AI assistant that answers and places telephone calls on behalf of a participating government office (the “Office”), books appointments, captures contact details, and may send related text (SMS) and email messages, along with a secure portal where the Office reviews this activity.

2. Accounts

Portal access is for authorized Office staff. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, to send unsolicited or unlawful communications, to attempt to access data that is not yours, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.

4. Text messaging (SMS) terms

Program. Residents and other contacts of a participating Office may receive text messages such as appointment confirmations and reminders, replies to inquiries, and related service notifications.

Consent. Messages are sent only after consent is obtained — for example, when you provide your mobile number to the Office or text the Office first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving any government service.

  • Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the Office.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out; you will receive a confirmation and no further messages.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact us at [support email] / [support phone].
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Intellectual property

DRMS owns the Service and its software. Content and records belonging to the Office remain the Office’s property.

6. Third-party providers

The Service relies on third-party telephony, messaging, hosting, and payment providers. Their terms may apply to the portions of the Service they power.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DRMS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. [Liability cap to be set by counsel.]

9. Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated as set out in the applicable service agreement between DRMS and the Office.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
